Ecu speed output ?

Basicaly which one is it ? I have a 98 glanza v manual with a standard ecu does anyone know which wire the ecu speed output is ?

It not an output its an input, what do you need it for?

Its for a blitz power meter id it says on the instructions and i have been told aswell that it has too be connected to the ecu speed output any ideas ?

Try this link, not the clearest and im not 100% sure this is the correct diagram as i dont have a 4efte so if it looks different to yours then dont touch it and wait for a turbo junkie to help you out ;)

But on this Speed input is right plug bottom row 4 in from the left

All that pin on the stock ecu is a signal from the reed switch on the back of the speedo that triggers when you hit 180km or whatever it is.

Its not an output.

So what is the speed out put then surely someone knows ?

for my power meter I had to cut the speed input wire that goes into the ecu and one wire went to the speed sensor side and one went on the ecu side but mine was a power meter sj

What do you guys recon then go for wire 11 on the 12 pin plug the spd speed signal one and hope for the best because i dont know what to do here i cant see any more wires to do with the speed ?

Try that pin but use the wire from the dash and not the ecu side

This is the pin you need, either cluster side, or ecu side, shouldn't mater.

It's a true pulse signal, not just an on off...

Yep your right. As long as the wire isn't cut this should be fine

(Unless of course the Blitz Power Meter has a input and output wire for speed signal).

Cheers lads got it sorted yesterday it was spot on i wired the ignition live too the cd player the earth too the bracket of the ecu and the wire was spot on just snipped it in half stripped both sides the stripped the wire for the blitz twisted them all together and shot a choccy block on them thanks for the help guys
