Starlet Gi and Glanza S Style Bonnet Vent (Blank) in Full Pre Preg Carbon

Hi guys, as per my ZEP Style bonnet vent thread, I am also currently developing a hump for the bonnet so the bonnet will look like a Gi or Glanza S bonnet. These will again be made from the same full pre preg 2x2 twill weave carbon as the ZEP style vents. Again I am aiming for these to be a bolt on application so it's easy to fit and remove if you so desire.

The price will be the same as the ZEP style ones. Again I am aiming for £160 delivered within the UK mainland but development isn't finished yet so that is not 100%.

i have a jam blanking scoop there dude that i might sell, its the same as what you are doing let me know if it could be needed cheers

We are developing this using the one we have for the ZEP style vent. All we will need to do is make a copy using the new mould in fibreglass and then take the vent off and smooth it out, then make a new mould from that.

Do you have any photos of the JAM one fitted?

no none of it fitted its sitting up at a friends house just need to collect it, i have fitted it before fits perfect but as said you might be better making one from the one you have already and the techniques ect rather than starting from scratch again

It goes with silver fantastically well.

Check out some of the silver Evo's with lots of carbon over on the MLR. They look great with it.

I'm not sure yet. They have gone for moulding so I'm waiting on the manufacturer to get back to me.

The reverse scoop mould is ready to go but I'm having issues getting my hands on a bonnet so we can check the fitment of each one before they go out to customers.

Once I get a bonnet we can make a glass master and then rework the reverse scoop to make the hump, then make a mould for the hump.

Hi John, frustratingly not.

My manufacturer has a bonnet now and everything needed to get these moulded but they are very busy and haven't found the time to do any moulding. I do keep pushing this but I am at their mercy at the minute I'm afraid.
