jordan walker
What do they do exactly ? Obviously they control boost but like you would still need an adjustable actuator to alter boost wouldnt you so like im a bit confused does anyone know ?
Amjad
They can alter boost above what the actuator is set to, you don't need an adjustable actuator but the stock one doesn't hold boost well.
starletburkie
also reduce lag aswell and can have a few settings usualy 2 or 3 for different boost levels! uprated actuator would be to hold boost better, they are set to we'll say 0.6 bar and then you would use the incabin boost controller to set maybe 0.7 bar for low and 1.0 bar for high boost

starletburkie
way easyer to set up than burning your hands trying to set up an actuator lol better control aswell than the actuator alone
davehart
They are pretty much essential if you want to run anything more than stock boost. Manual boost controllers are cheaper but you have less control. On an electronic you have two settings to play with. 'Duty' and 'Gain'. The duty is how much boost and the gain determines how strong that boost comes on. When setting one up its best to start low, ideally at wastegate pressure then slowly rise the duty up.Just be weary with the cold weather coming it so you don't over boost. These turbo cars love the chilly air
starletburkie
gain determines how strong that boost comes on.gain does alot more than that dude
