As Si mentioned it's impossible to determine what the ECU was mapped for. There are many variables that effect the conditions within the ECU, temperature, pressure, friction, climatic conditions, atmospheric load. Even if you had exactly the same set-up to the car in Japan it will still be different due to the variables mentioned. If you were in Japan it would be a different story as you could have the ECU re-set but we don't have the equipment here in the UK to do that.

It's probably worth installing and getting the car rolling roaded just to see the parameters within the box.

This is true Jason, a bit of a Pandora's Box so to speak.

You would have been better off with a full standalone for what you may have paid for the SARD, at least then you can map it to your actual spec and requirements rather than guesswork.
