If its faulty open a dispute to get your money back, buyer always wins

ive wired the green and yellow wires the same way as you have. ive connected the red live wire to a ignition live. and the black earth wire to the body. i havnt connected the grey wire to anything yet as was maybe going to wire in a separate switch. but it does say in the instruction that the grey wire dosent have to be connected for the limiter to work just cant use the rev2.

just problem solving mate.. not saying you have done it wrong or anything but took me a few attempts to realise it was actually working, lol.. the EML always comes on with the bee r as the ECU detects a missfire when operating..

you have rev1 set and the gain ya? if so what setting do ya have rev1 at?

i had rev1 set to 1 which should be a rev limit of 2500rpm i think havnt got the instructions on me now and the gain would of been roughly quarter of a turn. i did play about adjusting the rev 1 and gain to see if anything happened.

sounds like a dodgy unit so mate but id still try and wire the red and black wire to assigned ports in the ECU first just to make sure... i heard of cases before of bee r's not working properly running lives from other ignition sources....

another silly thing too.. pull off the knobs to make sure the outer knobs are the same setting as the inner ones

i dont like spicing in to the ecu loom. thats why i took the live and earth off else where. a live should be a live and a earth should be a earth. but the bee r might work strange so worth a try. ill pull the knobs off and have a look aswell. thanks for advice will try it.

I followed this guide when i fitted mine, it worked a treat till it helped kill my engine lol you said youve used 7 and 21 here it says 7 and 22.

ok thanks i will try that. but if you look at the link you sent me in the the second pic it says green to anyone and yellow igf. then if you go down and look at the ecu pin out pic, anyone is is 21 and igf is 7. but if yours worked its worth me trying 22 instead of 21.
