Worste case senario is if the pipe let go then you would looks power steering but would still be able to steer the car would just be very heavy.

Oh man that words scare the shit out of me! :p

Its been like this now for over a week but didnt pay must attention to it but it starts to irritate me.

Its hard to get the parts because the glanza's are rare as fuck and the normale ep9 are LHD :(

think it would be best to buy it brand new.

I would go to a local hydraulics firm and see if they could make you something up or like you say buy new it's not something you really want to risk secondhand.

AS SUGGESTED TRY A LOCAL HOSE COMPANY "PIRTEK" ARE A BIG NATIONAL COMPANY BUT KNOW HOW TO CHARGE. BUT MAY GET YOU OUT OF A MESS.

Im from Holland mate so it would be very expencive to go to the UK for a hose :p

The pipe should be fine dude. It's an old car and everything start to leak perish and all that sooner or later. If the pipe does go, do not drive it because hen you chance of running the pump dry it will get hot and damage the bearing inside the pump and make a horrendous noise

Mine did this at one end ever so slightly when i got the car, i smeared a very fine neat bead of loctite sump/gasket sealant around it after cleaning as a temporary measure, hasn't leaked since lol
