Like title states do I need a silencer for a mot?. Its decated I believe I don't need a cat for mot if im correct. This is info I need ASAP, if anyone can give me a definitive answer please.

Sweet so if I wrap her and also bung her for mot 1 they won't no if have silencer 2 will be pacified by a bung.

I have just fitted a side exit sounds lush but want to lose silencer :)

No you don't need a cat. As the other guys have said its up to the tester to say yes its fine or ouch my ears are bleeding.

Your car is subject to a emissions test. Every car is. You car will fail a cat test. If the tester follows his guidelines in the testers manual, he should then do a vehicle specific test. With starlet gt's not being a uk car they are not on the data base. So the tester must do the minimum requirement. I.e a non cat test.

This also applies for glanzas.
