Jordk
A mate of mine was planning this. Apparently the subframes are often known for breaking under load though :/ unless silly strong

Addymk2
A mate of mine was planning this. Apparently the subframes are often known for breaking under load though :/ unless silly strong That happens in C20LET Novas aswell, usually they just get welded up with an additional brace. On are you going to need a lengthened fiberglass front end? Similar to whats needed when you do a B series conversion. My mates mini VTEC was an animal, but it did need a lengthened front end to fit it all in and that was only a B16!
Mike@TD.co.uk
We've had a couple in here for work, they go VERY well Clubman front ends were used to gain a little extra room to get the radiator in! Cheers Mike JonesTuning Developments Ltd

FreedomCore
I think that as long as you don't destroy a perfectly good mini. It's cool =]
mini1.3
i.work in.a classic and bini specailist some of the 2.0 ones go like stink and we supercharge the a series engines etc they can get the power down just as good
jason_l
Tried fitting the 4efte engine into the mini subframe i have on the Demon but it was stupidly tight, don't get me wrong if you have plenty of time you can get them to fit but i decided to widen the mini chassis in the end to get it all in with a bit more room to spare. Glad i did as now i have a wide ass on the Demon and it looks alot meaner and should be a little more stable. Seen a few of them in a Mini though and yes they go Very well
