Heating problems

Flushed my heater matrix out and changed fuses and still get no hot air into the cabin and with the weather as cold as it is at the moment im bloody freezing, does anyone have any ideas on what it could be, im going along the lines of the thermostat being jammed open but does anyone have any ideas if it could be something else??

My thermostat was stuck open and car would never get very hot Inside, now I've changed the thermostat it does get a lot warmer! Could be worth a go mate especially as there around £7 from ID workz

Fair one worth doing for that amount then, problem is it doesnt get warm, it depends on the outside temperature, if its freezing outside its freezing in the car, its its warmer outside its warmer inside?? Is confusing me slightly as too what it could be

Thermostat most likely then, easy job so, just need to rebleed the cooland but seems youve prob done that already anyway

I had same issue, I replaced stat and the heaters got a bit warmer however I think my matrix s make red cause I checked my heater pipes in the bay and they're roasting,..

you should be able to here your flaps open and close if you listen carefully whilst turning the hot cold knob
