no the hubs are welded to the beam unfortunately, so the mounting points for the calipers wont be on the drum rear beam :(

very little to yield in doing this, more so an aesthetic thing...pump the money elsewhere id say



but yeah the GT axle is shorter

Axles are the same size. Its a visual illusion that their different.

Yes you can bolt all the gt/glanza parts to your SR axle. Go look at the rear camber thread and youll see four bolts that hold the caliper bracket on a gt and hold the rear of your drum on a SR. drum brakes rule!

This is a bare axle. That stub and plated are welded on. Those four holes hold the caliper carrier plate and in turn the caliper.

Stub holds the disc with build in bearings. Big nut goes on job done. Rear calipers seaze, it dont know why. Ive a gt setup to strip down and clean so Ill take better photos then.

Dont want to start and arguement rmsnoel but I've deffinately seen a thread with a tape measure involved theres a difference in the thickness of the plate that the stub axle is mounted on meaning overall track of the car is slightly wider.

Yep here it is dude, not a lot of difference but theres a small amount in width

But just looking you are correct about using the n/a axle and fitting disc cariers etc and here is a guide on how to fit the disc package to the drum axle for any reference you may need people, just instead of faffing with the handbrake cables make sure you have gt/glanza ones and you will be fine.

not worth the hassle mate maintain your drums clean them inside get rid of dust etc paint the outside about 4 layers bolt them back on looks loads better and will work fine dont fix if it aint broke
