electric wing mirrors

Recommended Posts

Well if you take off the window trim along one of your doors then you should hopefully see a white unoccupied socket near the wing mirror.

To remove the trim.

  • Remove the internal trim off the wing mirror.

  • Pop the door card clips but you shouldnt need to remove it.

  • There will be 2 clips you need to remove. One on either end of the window trim. To remove, turn them a little then pull them out.

  • Next unscrew the one screw in the door handle and slide it out of place

  • The trim should pull up. Just dont move it about too much as you could damage the door handle mechanism.

  • And you should hopefully see the connector.

Try and get the switch with the plug on back of it with some of the wiring, makes it a hell of a lot easier when wiring. So that you can just match colours of wiring to colours on wing mirrors.

Theres a tudior somewhere on forum.
