Upgrade the Autobox insides to take 280+bhp! ideas needed!

any ways... :p



need some ideas for the autobox to be upgraded for about 300bhp so the box can handle it smoothly..



does any one have any ideas on what I could try or do?? want a rebuild strong autobox...



like the supra forum have loads of people getting upgraded auto boxes for like 900bhp



so any gearbox geeks out there??

I refurb boxes for a living, il being it up at work see what we can think of

that would be like excellent!!

please see what you can think off or what do you think can be upgraded?? torque converter ?

Keeping the oil to normal temp

The clutch pack frictions may slip but custom would be in order as there's nothing on the market

Personally I would find the first weak link no point in spending if its not needed. But a good cooler wouldn't go a miss.

Not sure if the rad cools the fluid but when they go it leaks glycol in the box

Get a manual box. Everyone who starts down this path turns back eventually. Your not the first to try. Keeping the oil cooler sounds a good start. Good search and youll find the service manual too.
