Chris Green
Running extremely rich. When throttle is opened fully a huge cloud of black smoke comes out the exhaust, the car dies and the engine management light flashes. The PAS pump won't stop squealing and isn't working (could this be down to the anodized pulleys?) Changed back to 4e-fe injectors to see if that helped, but didn't. should mention that I'm running a 5e-fhe with a 5e-fe ECU.
rmsnoel
Sorry chris you should mention first.that its a newly.built engine and you have a glanza tps switch where the tps sensor should be. As we said in your other post cross the te1 and e1 pins on the diagnostics plug and tell us the code. Are you still running 5bar.fuel pressure Edited March 13, 2013 by rmsnoel
rmsnoel
Three words to live by, Fuel, Spark Compression
rmsnoel
Check your sparkplugs, return to standard throttlebody, injectors, fuel regulator and retest. Keep her standard for first few hundred miles cause you cant be revvin her like that. Check timing, check compression check o2 sensor.is connected, check for airleaks at the manifold, check all vaccum pipes are connected and unkinked.
Chris Green
I'm sorted now, the FPR has been adjust right down. Changed back to the standard TB and TPS. Spark plugs are all band new and gapped correctly. I did the diagnostics and got error code 41 TPS. All sorted now mate. Cheers

Yeah, I know my FPR wasnt adjusting, got it adjusted now though. I have it set at about 1.8 bar, and rises to 2.2.
