jayc-glanza17 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 and oil loss on dipstick??havent seen you mention you checked level yet????? mine had that under cap but was stored for 4 months, so a good 30 mile drive got the moisture out the oil, and no more condensation.. take the breather filter off, attacj a hose and put hose into a coke bottle, got for a drive good 25 mile one so oil warms up and condensation goes..make sure u clean filler cap before going for the drive.. once had the drive, check coke bottle to see if any oil is in their, then check filler cap.. only once that happens can u rule out condensation// and look towards headgasket Quote
Ep82jm Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Love how everyone automatically shouts head gasket when they see a bit of white under the cap lol. Quote
white-gt Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Jayc I'll give that a try tomorrow on the way to a mates. The dipstick level is at full with no whiteness . uses no oil or coolent. Quote
Socks Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Id take that oil breather off and give it a good clean and dry it properly as it looks like its clogged up with shit in that video If it compression tested ok, wont be piston rings or bottom end related... I think its fine... Just needs to be used! Clean that oil breather out with some de greaser and thoroughly dry it out again before refitting! Quote
white-gt Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 Already done mate and sitting on the heater as we speak! It never used to do that though we will see how it goes tomorrow. It still doesn't answer the smoke issue . Quote
StuDoc 72 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 If a breather is choked it will cause it to smoke see how it is tomorrow with tht cleared. Quote
white-gt Posted March 14, 2013 Author Posted March 14, 2013 The exhaust smokes blue on idle most times. Ill find out more tonight Quote
Danza V Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Mine is smoking blue when I start up and doing exactly the same in the vid. I think yours is the same as men mate and possibly rings.. Quote
