Starlet paint depth?

Im looking to findout the original paint depth of a uk ep91. Ive red 98 thats gone alittle pink and I want to get buffed before I fit a newly painted rear spoiler. The cars been buffed before as theres the telltale signs so if theres not much paint left then Ill paint the spoiler black or grey

A fully compound and polish would bring it up a treat mate. Look for valeting company's in your area if you don't have the stuff to do it your self.

I don't know about thickness, but Toyota paint is quite soft so go slow when using a machine!

Ive machine polished mine 3 times in the 7 years ive had it and its been fine

Machine polish will be fine mate its the cutting compound that will take it down

Very thin and soft, especially the red the lad who did joz's said something about having to take extra care with it
