can't find vacuum line for gauge installation.

Recommended Posts

I'm going to fit my boost gauge tomorrow and have had a quick look on the how2 section but am still not sure where to connect the vacuum t piece,

I presume this is because I have a air filter relocation kit and a Bailey dumpvalve so the hoses have been relocated else where.

Where do I tap the vacuum feed from now, or would you need a pic of the bay,

Any help appreciated. Cheers

Get a T piece that you'd use for a windscreen wiper washer hose, and cut in half the vacuum from the dump valve and insert the T piece then join back up the dump valve to the T piece and then you have 1 spare exit for your boost gauge for some more vacuum to come off.

As said above, there are literally tons of vacuum sources.

I'll see what's suitable then when I have aanother look tomorrow.

There are loads of vacuum lines! Easiest one is probably the small one off the inlet manifold, it's nice and close to the bulkhead.
