rob_bower Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 When you drive or rev the sr if you plant your foot it revs a little then cuts if you keep you foot in the bounce until you ease off, but if you ease your foot in it revs fine. I got a little vid to show what I mean.http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y53/rob_bower/30D87A72-AD33-4AD9-B665-2CE6DE1602EB-35621-000013C8823A5CF4_zps1890ac87.mp4Any ideas? As I'm stumped. Rob Quote
morgey Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Any error codes on the ecu?Might be tps related.Or maybe map sensorInitial thoughs early on the morning. Quote
turbo Grant Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 When I had my old black GT and had half my stand alone installed. I changed back to stock ecu. Tryed to drive it up the road and it made it rev up down up down. Had the tps unplugged still. Mick be worth checking the tps with a volt meter. See if its still switching ok Quote
rob_bower Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 Cheers guys ive not checked for error codes. Ill check the tps next time I'm down. Any other suggestions? Quote
Mike@TD.co.uk Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Calibrate the TPS sensor, should hopefully sort it. Cheers Mike JonesTuning Developments Ltd Quote
mech5107 Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 It's the TPS. When you slightly press the gas pedal, the TPS movements is not enough to "leave" the idle contact and the ECU cut fuel when reaching over 1500-1800rpm like fuel cut when decelerating in gear. I suppose there is also a slight hesitation when in gear you press the gas at around 1500-2000rpm. Adjust the TPS and will sort out. Quote
