1991 starlet owner
So starlets still looking very sad with faded black paint and lacquer peel. Thinking of a vinyl wrap or would be better with a full respray although costly.... Vinyl wrap I was thinking of was carbon effect... What do people think??Tom. TurboTobz
Vinyl wrapping can look pretty damn good if done well, and can fool a lot into thinking its painted I had my glanza wrapped back in the winter from tired silver to brilliant white! I have loads of pictures if your interested to see the outcome or look at my build thread 'Toby's 96 project' I can also put you in touch with the lad that done it.I'm not a massive fan of the carbon wrap the only time ive been hugely impressed was an is200 in white carbon wrap and it looked pretty nuts! Glanza-Ben
I think carbon wrap looks tacky as its dont really look like carbon, I would bite the bullet and have it resprayed I've just had mine done and was worth every penny and looks like new now
Jim*
respray will also last forever if you look after it, wrap will only last 5 years. depends how long your in it for! as the wrap will deteriorate over the years
