  1. Aaaahhhh sorry.. Preferably under £2800 ish. Tom
  2. So I opted for a 330cd 2004 e46 a few months ago mainly due to the mrs being at UNI and driving on the motorway. Now we've had a little turn of events and I'm gonna be in the market hopefully for something RWD, maybe a bit noisy, petrol with manual gear box and ..... Be able to fit a baby seat in without too many problems!! Any suggestions welcome!!!! Many thanks, Tom.
  3. To be honest mate you can drive most things to be alright on fuel, it's in your driving style, but the civic could get boring.. Comfort is lovely but isn't the same! Buy what you actually want! Do not buy something that you think you should and then be unhappy! Waste of money and time. IMO - your mrs will come round;) Tom.
  4. There is no other car than this impreza!!! Although a bowler wild cat would be fun;)
  5. Just general shite gets me, rubbish or lack of photos... Why would someone even look at a car for £10,000 of your well earned money with 1 picture and a sentence of description. No explanation about the actual product, won't answer questions/no communication, have no clue about their car, won't clean it and to be honest if an advert is shit how can anyone think it's very well looked after if the seller can't be bothere to show the car off!!!!!!!! Mini rant over:D
  6. I've ordered one of these bad boys but haven't received it yet. Has anyone else received theres?? Thanks, Tom.
  7. My fiancée and I are off the Majorca, Sa Coma for 2 weeks at the end of June start of July. Looks bloody lovely, all inclusive with first choice. Last year we went to Corfu, Glyfada / Glifada for a week at the Louis grand hotel and it was beautiful!!! Also with first choice all inclusive ( we like the all inclusive ;) ) the only thing is was the location was quite quiet in a stunning bay but not really very walk able to local shops etc. But that suited us really well but for people who like a lot of nightlife maybe that's not the place for you. Turkey is a good destination as at the moment
  8. Yeah get a gauge on it mate so you can monitor what's going on. Also check the actuator.. Could be knackered mate. Tom.
  9. I've started with simple site at the moment will see how that goes. Very easy to navigate etc at the momento. Thanks, Tom.
  10. Does anyone know of any good sites to create a website for someone whose knew to web design, and it needs to be linked to a paypal account to sell from. Many thanks, Tom.
  11. I would say that diet is the most important thing but must be matched with exercise, not one without the other. It's all well and good to eat healthier and train for your imagine but also think about your actual health too. Drastically changing your diet to weight loss and then creeping back into old habits takes it's toll on your body after many years. Try to make small changes over time to increase the sustainability of your new lifestyle which will increase health over time and be all round more healthy into a ripe old age. Our generation is going to struggle In a few decades because of fa
  12. Happy Christmas and have a great New Year everyone!! Tom
  13. Also mate, another thought the link you posted up was from piston heads, I would advise also looking on eBay and other sites as I've found piston heads to generally be more expensive. Tom
  14. Scoobs are very reliable and most of the gearboxes are a dream to use. A lot of the 08 onwards (I think) engines with the 2.5 litre had massive problems with blowing up etc etc, but the older classic ones didn't seem to have many problems as standard as long as they're looked after. But... I would not tune a scooby boxer engine unless it was a serious overhaul or very well set up with the correct modifications (speak to any scooby tuner or engine builder etc)... If you want power and a little tinkering then an evo is the way to go, imprezas DO NOT like being messed about with especially thi
  15. So if this is not working properly would this cause the thermostat to stay open and not let the engine warm up properly?? Tom.
  16. Yeah it'll be to do with the pressure in the system mate, it'll be the rap cap most probably (which is very important to get the correct one for your engine set up), you could have a little leak (mine was off the thermostat housing) but best way to check for head gasket gone is water in your oil! Check in your oil cap for a white murky solution and if not then jobs a gooden and it's less money!!!! - also mate you could change your coolent and give the system a bleed. Tom
  17. Sorry guys but I can't NOT raise awareness of this. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/women/womens-life/9587450/Jimmy-Savile-allegations-Esther-Rantzens-response-defies-belief.html
  18. But this 'cut up' air surely means the excess or waste pressure is not being forced out evenly, which could cause strain or incorrect pressure in other places? I don't know a lot about this so any info is greatly appreciated! Tom.
  19. Well the purpose of a dump valve is to dump the waste pressure isn't it? So my assumption is that some sort of waste gate or valve is necessary, but some of the more boy racer-ish ones that produce lots of noise aren't good and more commonly harm the turbo. I would ask around and don't go for a cheap option as it could cost big in the long run. Tom.
  20. To be honest you're better off running a turbo how it should be run, different turbos with different set ups make different noises be that chatter or more of a wooooosh. If you have the money to muck about and blow up your turbo then you have the money to get a bigger one without loosing spoil at low revs (like some of the race tech ones and others etc). Just my opinion though. Tom.
  21. Do it mate, get something else cool to experience that and then you'll appreciate it more when you get another starlet!! Tom
  22. I'm guessing this is on eBay, to be honest mate I would keep looking in the for sale section and get one off here!! All the members that I've dealt with have been nice and most people know the cars etc floating about so maybe easier to find a good honest one. Only my opinion though mate. Good luck! Tom.
  23. Looks nice mate but I would get plenty more pics up and plug it hard, show the car off more maybe from the rear and inside, and possibly with the 8000ks on. GLWTS though mate!!! Good to hear you're getting back into a glanza! Tom.
