  1. Bumpdy bump, I won't be breaking as don't have the time but someone would make a fair mint if they bought and broke this. Tom.
  2. Hiya mate, Thanks for the reply but it's a cash sale only I'm afraid. No room unfortunately. Good luck with your sale though! Tom.

  7. Oohh also lads, It's always cooled down on the turbo timer through the alarm which lasts for a minute, and if cold only driven under 3000rpm and NO boost until warmed up fully. Thanks, Tom.
  8. Thanks, if people know what they're buying it's a lot easier for everyone:D Tom.

  14. Car insurance, Does it really make a difference giving company's a ring rather than using comparison sites?? Also, if I have 3 years no claims does it have to be on the car I'm trying to insure. Thanks, Tom.

  18. Buy a little safe off of eBay and give someone else the key, I would strongly advise not putting any money into a bank. Keep it yourself and have the physical results of your labour. Tom.
  19. Year: 1991 Model: ep82 gt turbo mk1 Tax:may 2014 MOT: 30 may 2014 Mileage:172,000km Description: Hello and welcome to my advert for my mk1 ep 82 starlet gt turbo (which are quite rare now). It has approximately 172,000 km on the clock (so roughly 110,000 miles) which will go up slightly as its still in daily use. It is taxed until may 2014 and doesnt need an mot until 30 may 2014. The car is a great little runner and benefits from the following; Good bits. - Warlbro 255hl fuel pump - Brand new RAC battery - Aircon removed - Nur spec r stainless steel de cat exhaust system (too early for emissions test!!!!) also lifted as these systems sit very low but mine sits higher to avoid speed bumps more easily - Autogauge boost gauge approx 30mm (stuck on with sticky on drivers side so can be easily removed with no holes in the dash) - OMP steering wheel with long boss - Recaro bucket seat (some rips on right side bolster getting in and out) - Blue willians harness for drivers seat - Moster motorsport air filter relocation kit to front bumper - Aftermarket actuator (may be apexi or blitz but unsure) - Blitz supersound BOV (with two settings) - Was told by previous owner the manifold has been ported - Was told by previous owner the downpipe has been gutted - Coilovers on the front have been told theyre Tein coilovers (standard springs - lowered ones and shocks on back) - Mk1 standard boost gauge that creeps round in a circle on the bottom of the rev counter -Wedsport 13 lightweight alloys - Clifford alarm system with built in turbo timer (AVANT GUARD 5) no certificate unfortunately but i found the correct manual online and downloaded to check it was the same model and im 99% sure its the one. - Iridium heat range 7 spark plugs - Brand new king lead magnecore (a month old) with the rest of the brand new set to go on (will be included for buyer) Not so good bits Last mot advisories are as follows; 001 Rear (both) rear wheel bearing has slight play 002 Nearside front upper shock absorber has a slightly worn bush 003 Front (both) brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened 004 Rear (both) brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened 005 Rear tyres perishing. As far as i am aware the rear wheel bearings are a fairly simple job to do as are the other advisories, it just needs some TLC really. As far as the body work is concerned it needs some attention. Its a 23 year old car so the paint has started to peel in a few places and generally looks tired. There are a fair few stone chips towards the bottom of the front bumper but as far as rust is concerned I am not aware of any. There may be a little bubbling on the rear wheel arches will check tomorrow at work. Also, I believe that the turbo seals will need doing as on boost there is some blue smoke that exits the exhaust. Apart from that I do not get any white smoke, just slight blue on boost to represent some oil getting through. Also I have changed the thermostat housing recently as my old one started to leak. So it has had a coolant leak but has NOT overheated, just lost minimal fluid and this is now sorted!!! The drivers window needs a new regulator to which I have but its an ep91 connection so the old connection (still in the door ready to be changed) soldered on will work fine. The sunroof starts to open and then stops so that will need looking at too. I had a slight knock in the car last Saturday evening (09/11/2013), the nearside front indicator was hit and the glass broke (have amost if not all pieces so may be able to stick back together) but the indication still works fine!!! The car also suffered a small dent as shown in photos. The only reason I'm selling the car is because I'm picking up a new car saturday and can't have two my parents say as we have no more room. I love this car and it's brilliant to drive, I've had a lot of fun in it. But the time has come to pass on to someone else who will enjoy it rather than it sat on a driveway not being used. I may have missed a few things so any questions are welcome! Many thanks for reading my advert of my MK1 EP82 GT turbo. Tom. 21. Yeah I am well keen on it to be fair, but also wanted to know peoples thoughts on past experiences with parts and problems etc. Thanks for all the replies!!! Tom.
  22. Aaaahh righty, but and hope for the best then! I won't have it forever whatever car I get, perhaps a year or two and then sell on hopefully with nothing wrong with it:D Tom.
