Hahaha yeah definitely is a pain in the ass getting back out!! My first limit was £2,000 considering I was working full time at Tesco and only on about £800ish a month. My current limit is ridiculous at £7,700 and In no way reflects my salary. I think it's wrong the way you can up your limit online. I think it leaves weak willed people at the mercy of interest rates. Perhaps they should cap it at say £5,000 online or something. Tom. -

Why do people spend all this money?

Yes I completely agree with the boxer engine being an n/a. In my opinion they should have stuck a decent turbo on there and maybe even a turbo and supercharger to work together fully up the rev range. However, am I not mistaken in thinking their aim was to produce the most tunable car on the market? If so, if they had have gone straight for a turbo set up for example, they might have jumped on too far ahead for people who wanted a supercharger or maybe just an na set up with plenty of other different mods? Hello to all! So as it says on the tin really. I've recently fully repaid my credit card debt which I've been letting mount up for the past 2 and a bit years and it does feel epic not owing any dollar! So share your stories of things you've purchased and wished you hadn't, nightmare stories and possibly good ways of switching cards to make the most of interest rates etc! Tom.

How much for a house/property deposite???
1991 starlet owner replied to 1991 starlet owner's topic in Lifestyle General
Yeah what they're asking for at the moment really takes the Piss! And yeah I know mate, we live down south near Christchurch but I have rellies up in Newcastle and Hartlepool and the property up there is so much cheaper!!!! We could buy a brand new 2 bed house up there for about 10k less than an average flat down here!!! I must admit though I didn't realise the prices and rates were getting better each 1/4 Tom. -
So there's no wire from the steering column? How did your standard steering wheel make the connection mate?? Tom.
-
Hmm that's funny because its the same one I've got! I didn't have a problem with mine. Just fitted straight in my ep82. Anychance you could pop a photo up of the wires you mean?? If I get a chance I'll whip mine off and remind myself (as I fitted it well over a year ago). Sorry I can't be more helpful straight away! Tom.

I think it's got to be because it's what you're into at the time. People don't spend 10 or 15k or even a 1000 pounds on a car to make money on it. They do it because they love it. Overtime people change, ideas change and even money itself changes. There once was a time when 15k wasn't even the richest man in the worlds yearly income. Overtime money will come and go. But it's the things that remain which are most important. Family, friends, loyalty and the things you put you're heart and soul into..
