Taggy Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 I have the tedious task of changing out the gearbox and changing my crank oil seals this week. What is the easiest way to do it, am i right in saying. 1. Wheel off2. Driveshaft out3. Unbolt all gearbox bolts4. Unbolt gearbox engine mount5. Lower box down and then wiggle off? Gonna put the car up on some ramps to do it on my drive so i can get underneath it. I think taking a gearbox off when the engine is in still is pritty much the only job i havent done on the car lol Quote
turbo Grant Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 Put jack under the engine. Take the gear box monts off then take the bell housing bolts out. Pretty staight forward job. Nothing you can't do I'm sure Quote
