EPnick22
right so i have this problem, im running an avcr boost controller with my ct9, no matter what i changed on the settings, made no different to how much boost i could run, so i unplugged the solenoid vac pipes and just connected the actuator to the turbo so it runs off the wgate pressure, still no difference? when i adjusted the actuator it just ramped up faster, but no more than .7 bar no matter what? anyone please? TurboTobz
Can you be a bit more clearer? I don't understand what your saying by ramped up quicker. You could have a faulty actuator
akyakapotter
it must be plumbed in wrong or your not setting it up right bud adjust the actuator to say 0.7 then use the avcr to up the boost have a look at this to make sure its plumbed in right CLICKY Edited June 10, 2013 by akyakapotter
TurboTobz
From the way I read that the problems there with the avcr off, so shouldn't be a problem with the controller. But it's not incredibly clear
EPnick22
well the first part of what i wrote said "im running an AVCR and no matter what i changed on the boost settings, it didnt change anything" which is why i unplugged it to see if there was a problem with the avcr, so i just connected the pipe that goes from the turbo to the actuator, its still the same, and when i say ramps up, i mean how fast the boost builds up, i hit full boost within a split second when i plant my foot, any suggestions? Are you trying to boost lower than the actuator pressure? I know it silly but some people think you can.Do you know that the avcr is working properly? Maybe worth testing the solenoidIs it an adjustable actuator?
EPnick22
sorry not sure what you mean by trying to boost lower lol the avcr is working ive checked it all over, and yes hks adjustable actuator
DavidAshton
Wind your actuator further in, sounds like it's still too slack to me.
TurboTobz
Set it to say half a bar and set your avcr to 1 bar, do you have fuelling mods done?
