Also lost power one day last week on the motorway but it's been running fine up to and after that. TurboTobz Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 Well, burning oil (oil making it into the cylinders) will produces smoke, whitey/grey/bluey quiet hard to see the exact colour from your mirror of course. Losing power could be compression loss, due to rings, if it is rings it's not a massive job just to buy another engine and chuck it in, it's easier and cheaper than rebuild too Quote Link to post Share on other sites
td04 glanza Posted July 13, 2013 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Spoke to a guy this morning that I know is very clued up on anything mechanical and he advised me to take a look at the breather system from the crank?
