Ep'd Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 (edited) I went past a speed camera can and looked at the front of it as it was on the opposite side of the road.It had a little camera in its front window in centre and the standard massive camera in the back window wound down that catches you speeding. What is that front camera an ANPR or a camera that catches you speeding like they have on the rear???Weird Edited July 29, 2013 by Ep'd Quote
Danza V Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) I would have thought it could be one to get either the rear of your car, number plate or to cath people going the other way. Either way though and I know they're there for a reason, they scare the hell outs me Edited July 30, 2013 by Danza V Quote
Craig_N Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 I think it's to get the back of a bike mainly because not many motorbikes have front number plates Quote
asbo-v Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 There in Yorkshire and Doncaster all week everyone and there in accident hotspots .. Quote
Arnold Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I think the only one that counts for speed is out the rear, as they have quite a large lense. Anything in the front is probably just CCTV or ANPR Quote
mikey4410 Posted August 1, 2013 Posted August 1, 2013 I havent seen camera specific ( speeder catcher)round essex area for years now.i would imagine it was anpr also.Maybe they have given up with the vans or i just aint out about when they are lol Quote
