040 Super White......Grey or White Primer???

Any idea what is the PROPER base paint to use so 040 super white turns out how it should?

I would say a white base coat paul

I've always used white base and good results

I would use any, good flat, good key its 2k paint plenty of coats will produce a good cover

hmm ok. well I've also heard that some people havent used lacquer on 040!

i will be for paint protection and a decent shine, have any of u guys heard of people not usin lacquer?

I didn't use lacquer on my splitter was painted professionally by my mate. He said I didn't need it still shines now after a year

Using lacquer depends on whether you're using a 2K base or a 2K solid paint. The base needs lacquer, the solid doesn't.
