4EFE and 4EFTE parts

do these 2 engines share the same parts (cap and rotor) ?

basicaly yea

the engines differences are down to the rods, pistons, injectors, t/b and inlet mani,

different cap and rotor!!

the 4efte uses a separate coil, whereas the 4efe uses a inbuilt coil into the cap.

you could but most of the parts that make it go faster are on the outside and its really not worth stripping them off cause you would need some 4e-fte internal parts so a whole 4e-fte engine may be cheaper

well if i put a turno in my car then i would have to try get insurance and there is no way i would get insurnce so i would have to do it illegally!!! you get me know!!

they are only fast enough if you are happy with it you can always go further!!!

cheers for the replys, one more quick question , is the thermostat the same ? mines stuck open so i get cold feet when driving along and sweat when waiting at trtaffic lights

i'd imagine it would fit, altho im sure it would be different internally due to the higher bhp of the fte?
