Vf30 vs TD04

Hi guys atm I'm running a TD04 on a fully forged engine with all supporting mods, I've been offered a vf30 in nearly new condition and just wanted to know what people's views were on the VF30. Is it worth doing it as I will need a re-map as soon as it's on. And what sort of power gains would I see ?? I'm running 260 bhp atm but would like to see 300 bhp if possible.

They offer a little later spool up as a VF24, but a little less top end power than the VF22 which I believe is the biggest in the range upto 400bhp I think it is.

The VF24 is the most comparible with the td04.

What power gains you will see depends on what boost you decide to run it at.

Currently what's your limiting factor?

If you get the vf turbo on there, what would hold you back?

Injectors big enough to flow 300hp region?

Ignition alright plugs tight enough for the boost?

Clutch setup game for a power hike?

Compression sensible enough so as to not make the tuners job impossible on big boost?

Yea injectors are 440 maybe bigger not sure

Ignition all good mate

Clutch is a 6puk paddle

Compression should be all good

Alright sounds like you'll only be dealing with normal issues like the odd broken gearbag lol

Get it on there and mapped, the extra lag will be the only downside
