Passenger side electric window won't go up from the passenger control switch but does when you use the driver's switch

Hey,

The other day we were on a road trip and the switch which controls the electric windows stopped working to put the window up on the passenger side. However, you can still put the window up using the driver's side switch.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'd imagine it's something to do with the connection in the switch, but how do I go about fixing this?

Replace the switch or check the wiring to see if There's a brake

Might be a silly suggestion but you haven't pushed the child lock button thing just above the window switches?

I don't think it'd be the child lock because surely that would stop the window going down rather than up? I'll double check though just in case! I guess checking the wiring is going to be the only way, but then again, is the wiring for it going down separate to the wiring for putting it up?

sounds like a broken cable or faulty switc,

check the switch is switching with a multimeter and check the continuity of the cables from the pass window switch to the window motor for a break
