Standard Shocks on Lowering Springs Front...D2 Coilovers Rear

Would it be okay to run standard shocks lowered on the front of a Glanza and D2 Coilovers on the back? It will be for 2-3 weeks tops. Having issues with the rear tyres rubbing because of the shagged shocks. Having the coilovers on will allow me to actually drive the car. Just can't afford front and rears until payday. Would i see any issues if i set them to a similar height to the shocks and springs. Will the differing spring rates pickle everything?

Any advice would be great

No it will be fine mate as long as its not to low as it could rub without a panhard rod.

I did this and it made the the front end stupidly bouncy was horrid

I imagined it would be!! Front shocks are just f**cked so they're pretty limited how bouncy they can be haha

Fucked shocks is what makes it bounce :S shocks are there to prevent bounceyness so thats a contradictive statement lol.

well i think the driver side shocks are blown and the springs are shot which is why the drivers side sits lower so i feel everything... When i say limited to how bouncy they can be i meant bouncy from rebound and dampening...

if your willing drive mine i can lead you 2 front kyb shocks and rear right the left one is leaking got tein lowering springs on them

Cheers buddy...but should be able to deal with it for a few weeks until the next payday. I always drive slow and little miles anyway
