Ollieh17
Basically got bored of my dumpvalve so have removed the vac hose to the dump valve and blocked it up. It chatters fine at low boost but at higher boost/rpm it sounds like air rushing out even with the throttle still open.Previously thought my turbo felt laggy and maybe going for chatter has revealed a leak?!?! TurboTobz
put it back on and see if it gets rid of it, the dump valve could be leaking, what make is it?
RobSR
Itll be the DV leaking. If you want chatter remove the valve completely instead of just blocking the vacuum up.
Ollieh17
Its a baileys.. Reconnected there is no air leaking noise. But still think the turbos laggier than it should be.. Maybe the DV Is the issue?
TurboTobz
baileys are renowned for leaking, remove it and blank it see if that changes it.

TurboTobz
Usually you just find something cylindrical andPop it in the hose and clamp it in place, you can buy proper ones
