Fitting BC Coilovers

Recommended Posts

Copper grease all bolts that will be going back in.

Copper grease the actual thread on the coilover itself to make it easier to adjust in the future and to prevent any rust etc eating at them especially coming up to the winter.

A lot of people get an old push bike inner tube and wrap it round the coil thread and cable tie it in place to protect the thread/keep it spotless. But that's up to you.

Do the above and you'll be fine.

Tights and bike tube will hold moisture, just bury them in grease or waxoyl. Put lots of grease on the rear topmounts, ALL over them as theres a certain other more expensive brand that rust and crack, yes alloy rusts :-)
