Sandham
Just read on another thread that the td04 has more flow than a ct9 so will hit fuel cut at around 8psi?? Can anyone comfirm this as i was going to adjust my actuator to boost around 11psi after russ said that it will be ok to 0.85 bar..Dont want to blow the engine up though so would rather someone comfirmed or denied it?Thanks
pick1
That's correct the td04 will flow more boost if u set the boost level right as in .8 it shouldn't creep although it can happen sometimes u won't blow your engine up by hitting fuel cut but it's not very nice and tried to throw u threw the windscreen just keep an eye on your boost gauge dude
mikey4410
i run my td04 @ 10.5 psi and is flawlessand well done for not using a fcd by the way. and td04s dont creep at all,td04 for the win. Edited October 20, 2013 by mikey4410
Sandham
Ok so if i set it and allow for a small amount of room it will be ok to run around 10/11psi? And yeah but i dont want to risk damaging anything for a small but of extra boost. Thanks! Really dislike fcd after removing mine, the car seems to run better without it. Ive got a emb sat here waiting but cant afford a map and im abit bored of 7psi Edited October 20, 2013 by Sandham
mikey4410
as i just said above ,set for 10.5 psi.i want to be on the super safe side what u choose is up to you but the trade of for another psi in my eyes isnt worth hitting fuelcut. play it safe mate and enjoy the circa 165 bhp you will get from 10.5 psi done.............
