Im fitting a Cusco 7 point roll cage this weekend but need a few pointers when it comes to bolting down the feet.

It came with the plates and bolts but im just wondering if anyone has any tips on the process involved with the fitment?

Cheers in advance any help gratefully received :)

The plates they supply to put underneath the car are way to big, I cut them up and made them into washers kind of thing

My worries were i'd drill through something lol........and i'd assumed the plates were to act like washers but wasn't 100% they were for the underside of the car! Thanks for fast replies :)

Given how thin the floor is on the car, it's going to need reinforcing before the cage is bolted in. Otherwise if you do end up on your roof the cage leggs are just going to punch through the floor and do bugger all to stop a head:tarmac interface.
