Hello

I'm going to start building an engine very soon and will be fitting into my sportif.

I'm aware of the parts I need etc

My question is:

I will be running a standalone ecu will I still need to convert the rest of the loom?

ideally u still need a knock sensor im sure

and a few other bits,but im sure theres no need to convert whole loom if your going standalone.......

That was my thoughts but always good to ask.

That would have been my next question, what other little sensors would I need to get aswell

Yup if your going standalone, map and knock i think should be the only ones you need.

Can you use the same loom if you use a piggyback?

^ yea would work. Youd still need to add in a knock sensor and map aswell tho.

Ahh that's good to hear about the piggyback aswell, as i may be able to get hold of one of them cheaper and easier
