Heaters blowing cold when at hot..

Was driving along and all of a sudden the heaters started blowing out cold air when should be hot, just wondering if anyone has had this problem before? Cheers

Most likely a sticky thermostat, worthwhile giving the matrix a flush too whilst youre replacing the thermostat.

Just don't rag the pipes off the matrix or you will be pulling the dash to bits like me

Low coolant? Mate had same symptoms on his ek and he topped rad up n heaters blew hot again

Just replaced the thermostat with a new one and topped up the coolant, still no joy. Any other ideas?

Did you flush the matrix ?

No mate, what's the best way to do that?

Put a hose (quite high pressure but nothing daft lol) down one of the pipes and a bucket under the other pipe to catch the water, it'll be full of shite i bet.
