starletno1fan
I dno what has happened but my car just suddenly made a really loud knockin noise from my n/s front wheel. the faster i go the faster it knocks. With a slight bit of throttle (or more) the knockin becomes less noticable. But im worried it could risk my life driving my car.ne experts hav a sort of idea what it could be?i got told its my wheel bearing or cv jointEric
Nanglebadger
My rear ones did this after i painted the drums....the prob was that the nuts had bitten through the paint and so the wheels were loose, try tightenin them mate, easy solutions feel better than expensive ones, hope thats all it is dude.Phil. starletno1fan
Is it a knocking noise or a whirring noise? Does the noise get faster/louder with speed? Does it do it when you coast? (drop the clutch) Does it do it over bumps? Answers on a postcard please....................<{POST_SNAPBACK}>alright, it does knock faster with speed and still does wen i coast. But i check this morning and my nuts were loose, so tightened it up and solved the problem, it did scare me for a minute cheers lads!
