The last problem left is a stud has and bolt for the manifold has had it and needs replacing. Because of the missing stud on the corner of the manifold it is blowing and the car sounds horrible. Gainzy Posted December 3, 2013 Share Posted December 3, 2013 Sounds like a major pain in the ass, you will need a new gasket which mean taking the mani off again, if your after an oil line you also need a gasket for that....just go balls out for that td04 kit you want or else your just gunna throw more money getting this right.. Also want to get the car up to scratch handling wise before I td04 which will put it off longer. I don't want a car thats quick in a straight line but handling isn't the best. If the gasket is a decent one - not the cheap toyosports type ones then it should be ok to re-use, just get a new stud and you'll be good to go. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Coilovers, nice bucket seats, struts and roll bars and goo brakes will benefit me more than faster straightline speed!! Gasket is a racespec performance one from ebay? Put your cash into getting it running sweet least you can get coilovers on finance, it's gunna be gash weather soon so a tdo4 is useless for the next 4 months.
