paul w Posted November 9, 2007 Share Posted November 9, 2007 Unless you have a ramp it'll be quite a job to hold the box to remove/fit it. It's feckin heavy!It can be done on a driveway with trolley jacks,but if you've never done it before i wouldn't reccommend it! Find a mate who has done it and watch how it's done. Glanza_Ragger Posted November 10, 2007 Share Posted November 10, 2007 I believe it also has to be realigned with a clutch alignment tool JozYep, puller and allignment tools.Also some high ramps to drive the car on.You want as much room underneath when removing/installing a gearbox as possible.Tbh, its alot of effort if you havent got a proper pit where you can get a gearbox jack underneath.
