yogi bear
When im sat still with the brake pressed the oil light flickers slightly. Doesn't come on when in driving and I've got enough oil in the engine. Thinking it must be electrical but wondered if anyone has had the same problem.
daniel_g
It'll most likely be the oil pressure switch or the wire to it, it sits on the right side of the block when looking at the car. Theres a single wire to it which is yellow iirc. New switch is about 8 quid new.

Stu
Sure its not the revs dropping low due to the brakes being on and the actual oil pressure dropping low? I had a similar issue on a customers EP82 who was running really thin oil and not a lot in there. Oil change with good oil and adjusted the idle back up to 900rpm and it was solved. Just an idea anyway
daniel_g
Yeah obviously check there is oil in the engine first lol, kinda goes without saying really though
