rockrees
Wasn't sure where to post this, so hope it's in the right section. Anyway I've seen on the forums a lot about different starlets being different EP's, such as EP82 or EP90 e.t.c. Thing is I don't have a clue what one my car is? Build thread here if it helps at all: http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/dynamics/showentry.php?e=25075&catid=member&entryuserid=6707 I assume it's a model code? Probably a stupid question, sorry. Been trying to find out for ages haha.

morgey
ep70-71 is the old square ones 1984-1989 generally speaking.70 is non turbo71 is turbo ep80-82 are the slightly rounder ones but still fairly square 1990-1995 again gernerally speakingep80 is basic non turboep81? ep82 is the turbo but it is possible to get 82 in non turbo ep91 are the roundest ones 1996-1999 glanza and uk spec are both classed as the same and any code with a 5 in it (ep95) is 4wd also a break down of the code is E is the engine type (they do diesel versions with an N series engine which makes the starlet a NP80 etc)p9 p8 p7 is the model/chassis and the last number 0 - 1 - 2 - 5 is something to do with trim or chassis layout or something Edited December 10, 2013 by morgey
