compression tests.

Was wondering could anyone help me please im looking for a replacement 4efte and I've found one and the guy who's selling it said the compression test read 70psi with every cylinder, does anyone know whether this is good or bad? Can't really get a straight answer.

That's abit low bud shud be around at 150+ psi across all cylinders, If were you I'd stay clear of that probaly last 5mins with that compression. That's my opinion tho

Right ok mate, i appreciate the advice. I think ill let it go and just wait for a better one Haha. Finding it hard as to get a hold of a New engine

Different kettle of fish from a FTE, but mine was 210ish.

Even still, should be around 14bar from what I can remember.

Inremember mines was between 140/150 when i done it

They are the sort of figures you should be looking for on a standard 4e anything between 140/160

I appreciate the advice guys. need to find a new engine in that case haha. does anyone know if the GT engines are the same as the Glanza engines? cause ive seen one of them online but i wasnt sure if there was anything different

They are the same engine. Stronger in some cases. Just use the sensors off your original engine

put it this way, when my piston ringlands went, from piston 1 - 4 they read 120psi, 70psi, 90psi, 110psi. All ringlands were cracked besides the first piston lol
