GlanzAndy Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 I have seen some intercooler kits with the BOV on the 'Hot Pipe' And see with the BOV just before the intake.... What's the difference? If any? Thanks, Andy Quote
Jamie_VF22 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Sounds better on the cold side mate Quote

Thanks, Andy The theory of it says that BOV should go as close to the butterfly in the throttle body as possible Quote
Phil Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 (edited) Im pretty sure GoldenVTR aka Dan is your man for this.. he has experimented both ways (lol) I think it makes little to no difference. if you really want to avoid comp surge run one either side Phil Edited December 19, 2013 by Philm Quote
Chris_GlanzaV98 Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 i would say the same as above closer to the butterfly on the tb as possible Quote

Xpect Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Cold side, then reroute so that the blown off air comes into the intake before the turbo. Less annoying sound and less lag when changing gears or similar. Well, had a read around for half an hour and that's how it's the only legal way in germany but also the most favorable. Especially on drag or track driving with many gear changes. Quote
