Currently driving a Mk5 GTI Golf which I've been considering selling and downsizing as I only drive about 10 mile per week, which brings me here as I'd like another starlet if I sell the golf! Lappy Posted January 20, 2014 Author Share Posted January 20, 2014 I like all 3 but likely just an SR, I had seen a good clean low mileage standard starlet, sportif model which would make a good base car but was expensive enough for a 1997 it was £1900 I think! I managed to pick up a '98 solida for £220 in fine working order (done 2200miles upto now with no issues), barring some rusting on the drivers door where someone's been closing/opening the door with the keys left in.
