Well if it works with a direct 12v feed, but then it doesn't work after youve wired it in, then surely the fault is with the wiring youve done.

Logic would suggest this. I'm a telephone engineer by trade so I'm not retarded with wiring... It's two wires...

But I'll get them soldered and were try again
