Right guys been having problems with my idle so today i messed around with the tps and replaced some vacuum lines took tmic piping off etc etc put all back together idling just under 1k now took it for a drive felt so much faster i was shocked how much quicker it felt...

Heres the problem after 5 mins i have that stupid whistling sound come back on boost and then it hasn't got as much power and sometimes has a slight miss fire...

I think maybe tps is completely knackerd but since that whistling im losing power would this be anything to do with TPS SENSOR???

TPS's wouldn't cause a whistle..

It obv sounds like a boost leak... All clamped up nice and tight?

What boost are you building on your boost gauge? When it whistles, do you notice less boost on the gauge?

Hey socks not running a gauge atm just the stock one...

Maybe it could be the intercooler piping as ive took all that off today.. Deffo sounds like a leak though.

The engine management flashed up briefly when it miss fired.

But ealry it was flying felt so much better

Get a boost gauge asap... These sort of issues are instantly recognisable! Its defo a must imo!

Engine Management Light flashing up and a misfire. Could well be fuel cut!

I have a Gauge in my cousins glanza lol gta get it back off him..

That miss fire was when it wasn't boosting as good .

I think maybe piping tbh stock gt's are a nightmare to work on have to keep taking the top mount off to get to stuff lol

Yeah you might of cured a leak allowing it to boost better, bringing you into fuel cut realm!

Didn't hit fuel cut when it was boosting properly lol
