Amjad Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Our first one had the head rebuilt by the previous owner and was immaculate, great car. The second was good bar a leaking door (30 min fix) Not very nice cars to work on though. MPG on a run was 52, in town 35. Quote
Idrees Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I would recommend a Mark 5 TDI instead, you can get one with about 100-120k miles for less than £3.5k. Quote
yaristurbo Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Seen some nice mk5 golfs if that's what you mean? Quote

Idrees Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Seen some nice mk5 golfs if that's what you mean? Yep, the Golf drives better then the Leon imo, and the interior is definitely more modern. Quote
Amjad Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Yep, the Golf drives better then the Leon imo, and the interior is definitely more modern. I can definitely agree with this, the MK5 chassis is miles ahead! Quote
