I dont use the Idle control valve any more and its currently unplugged, does anyone know if i can take it off and block it up. I am sure i have seen the same intake with a blanking plug, possible on an N/A?

What are the effects with and without it?

Well after having to replace 2 ICV's because they started making that awful high pitched "bipping" sound, i decided to run it without it. It does what it says really, its supposed to regulate the idle speed. Although when its unplugged on mine it makes very little difference, I would say the idle speed is ever so slightly less, but otherwise seems to run the same.

And no problem with cold or warm idles?

Although thinking about it I'm sure that a load of the aftermarket inlets don't run icvs

Id say you could bung it fine. But I'm not sure how to do if easily. It's probably a inlet off and weld a plate job
