do 195 45 15s fit a 6j wheel??

Hi guys, just bought some 15inch 6j enkeis off a mazda mx3 and wanted to fit some 195 45 15 tyres I have from old 6.5j wheels, will this work?? Have had various answers! Many thanks

albeit they will look a bit odd, id swap them for part worn 185 45s

195/45/15 will fit just fine, I'm not sure why they would look odd? Personally I'd stick to 195/50/15 but 45s will fit fine.

Too wide for the wheel they will make it feel boaty

Ahh I see, I was always under the impression that 195 & 6j was ok but apparently not lol :/

Definitely not ha. I have 185's on mine and I think there even a little bit much for them a small streatch is better

The thing that confuses me is OE Speedlines are 15 x 6j but people use 195/50/15s... Does the sidewall profile have any effect on fitment?

Thanks for all the comments guys. So, ended up taking wheels an tyres to a mate who has a tyre place, put 1 on an stuck it on the laser machine, balanced etc. They fit absolutly fine, almost flush with the alloy at 31 psi. There ya go!

195/50's on a 6 is completely fine mate
