I fitted one to my mates GT that they built. Didn't last all that long. Looked like a bog standard engine just painted up. Sorry mate :(

He didnt know much about it, said hed bought it as a 5efhe made from various parts from 3 and 5es. im gonna go through it slowly to check everything thoroughly and finish it to a high standard. im looking for around 250/300hp area, what kind of turbo would get me that kind of power from a 5e with minimal lag and stress on things?

I bought it as a standard engine, was told it was a FHE but it has a 3E marked crank and I didn't measure the cams to be sure of what it was.

I would certainly never ever try and run the engine, it would be stripped down and rebuilt, I was going to forge it capable of anout 800bhp.

Td04 will get you that target :)

theres rust on the valves i wasnt impressed with, but i can go to town on it cause its not got to go on my car anytime soon. having said that, my current engine shat a considerable amount of oil out the exhaust on the dyno yesterday, so its on its way out lol.
